MISSION STATEMENT

The world of cancer and cancer treatment can be frightening!  Two cancer survivors are the founders of Hospitality for Family and Friends (HFFF).  They realized how fortunate they were to be surrounded by family and friends during their treatment periods.  HFFF was created as a vehicle to enable other patients to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of love and support!

Numerous studies validate the fact that cancer patients, who have the support of family and friends, respond to treatment more successfully than those lacking this support.  For cancer patients who are undergoing treatment in New York City, HFFF will arrange a free hotel room for visitors--providing there is financial need.  HFFF will also provide a free room to cancer patients (without any life support systems) who come to New York City cancer centers for a second opinion, diagnosis or  next day scheduled treatment--provided there is financial need.

All HFFF services are initiated and processed through the social services department of your hospital
